to start Bible Studies and to arrange for Meetings. They wanted me to form, in fact, another sect. The pressure brought upon me at this stage by Watchtower adherents was to keep me off balance. It resulted, however, in causing bitterness in my heart, and pushed me perilously close to the idea of forming a sect dedicated to “smashing” the Watchtower movement. Unknown to me at the time, warped as I still was in my thinking, I was actually beginning to go the way of all “unreconstructed Russellites.”
